Together they traveled on the mid-west and east coast coffee house circuit and began to lay the foundation for the nationally known group Albrecht, Roley and Moore. The ten songs written and sung by Mike and Scott were recorded through the various facilities of Airborn Records in Michigan during 1974 and 1975. Appearing on the recordings [now comes a list of those whose played on the LP. See above]... The opening song was composed by Jeff Trautman, a former Aslan player.

My Poor Generation - Liner Notes
"In the beginning, God gave music." Joe Markko was a former drug user, fresh out of the street and Larry Hill was a Pastor of a church made up of social outcasts, former dopers, hustlers, revolutionaries, outlaws etc. Both had put their former association with rock music completely out of their lives for a walk with God. For one, it had been fourteen years; for the other, three months. And then the Word was revealed, and a new kind of music was being created. The first Jesus-rock group in the nation was born, The All Saved Freak Band.
The music was so unheard of that year that big record companies didn't know how to categorize it. No contracts could be signed for the band felt that the music was sacred and would not sell the publishing rights, even when millionaires flew to Kent from West Germany and producers from California. The group had received a large spectrum of attention through T. V. appearances and concerts. The band certainly doesn't lack illustrious members, such as the former lead guitarist for The James Gang, and Pacific Gas and Electric Co., Glenn Schwartz, rated as one of the five best blues guitarists in the world. Tom Miller, the burning brand of the Kent-25, was singing with the group when he and the bass player, Randy Markko, were killed on a journey to spread the Gospel at a rock festival. The music is exactly as Larry described in a news article he wrote about Glenn Schwartz: "Sometimes the music is so tender a bird could light on the notes and sing. At other times it's like... well let the words of a black drug addict who heard the band at an outdoor festival tell ya... 'Like I was over on that hill mindin' my own business. I heard these dudes was down there, but I made up my mind nothing was gettin' a hold of me. But when the music started crankin' up, somethin pulled me to my feet and man I mean pulled me down there. And when they talked about Jesus, somethin broke loose in my heart. I have been a heroin addict for years, this is the first time in years I've felt peace and freedom'."
And that's what it's all about, peace and freedom. At the time of the Kent killings, Tom Miller's picture appeared in Life Magazine. He was jumping in a pool of blood and was waving a black anarchist flag. Many times he stood up and said "I was one of the Kent crazies, burning buildings and challenging the National Guard. The bullets in the air were so close I could feel the wind from them and my friends were falling around me. I could feel an evil power hanging over campus and I was aware that we were being used. I used drugs until I couldn't stand and lay in a stupor. You talk about sex perversion, I was more than a little strange but through God, Jesus has set me free, purified my life and I have peace. I want to tell the young, and the old, and all that will listen about Jesus."
The final touch of finesse and beauty was added to the band in the persons of Pam and Kim Massmann, whose father conducts the Minnesota University Orchestra. Both girls play acoustic guitar and sing and play cello and violin as well. (No hired musicians and voices on this album!).
"I first met Glenn Schwartz, the Rev. Larry Hill, and some of the others in the All Saved Freak Band in 1971 when they were on a visit to Nashville. We kept in touch off and on and then one day Larry called and said that they were ready to cut their own album. Having found a studio in Cleveland where they could record, they asked me if I would come up and help with production and studio work. I agreed, but I had some reservations as to how good an album could be done in as short a time as they planned to do it and I was also unfamiliar with the studio and its sound. Let me just say now, that I couldn't have been more pleased with the album or the studio. Ken Hamann is one fine engineer. And the group... well, I was already high on them from earlier days, but they had recently added these two girls who just ruined me with the way they played, what they wrote, and how they sang. I found the time spent, the music, and the people to be a very special blessing. And, as Pam says, Praise God." Rob Galbraith

Brainwashed - Liner Notes
The 60's were an epoch, an era. It was the time of the surfacing of the counter culture. It had its basic philosophy, its demonstrators, and its music.
As everything that stirs and involves the masses, this bag brought forth both good and bad. It left some with broken minds, others it left lonely and lost. Some it left only a surplus of long hair, to them it was only a fad. Others it left with faith and still wanting to help others. Others it left never to be the same. They are the writers, the poets, the scholars, the artists, the seers and musicians that are bringing in a new renaissance.
These are the ones which saw what was really happening, and refused to go into bondage, "Give me liberty or give me death." They laughed in the face of the god of gold, and his victims were angry with them because they were strong enough to live by their convictions. The crowds screamed, "God damn you!" But they said, "God help us," and He did.
One of these whirling out of creation into form is Glenn Schwartz, former lead guitarist for the James Gang, and Pacific, Gas and Electric.
Glenn was both a student, and a father of the rock-blues guitarists cult of the 60's. Being a student of the blues music he played, caused him to seek out such men as B. B. King, Sonny Boy Williamson (the one and only), John Lee Hooker, and many others. He learned his lessons well and was well rewarded. Some that have studied under him are now playing with superstar groups.
Glenn was chosen star performer after playing before 85,000 people at The Palm Beach Rock Festival, and one year later was rated as one of the top five rock guitarists in the world. Playing on the nationwide hit, "Are You Ready?" certainly didn't hurt the young musicians [sic] flight to stardom. But the rock worls knew they had more than a propaganda produced rock star when Honor of Honors came running down. Jimmy Hendrix himself requested Glenn to play at what turned out to be his last birthday party.
Glenn relates some of his experience in the tune "Messed Up" and "Seek Him", which reveals some of his "Lost and Found" department.
Tired of phony trips that went nowhere, and empty words that did nothing but repeat themselves (the prophets of the subway walls and tenement halls do nothing but gripe) he was looking for the action.
So while our star was standing at the crossroads, wondering Pacifically if it was Gas, or Electric, that made his little light shine, someone screamed, "I'm a seeker," and he said, "So am I." About then, Clapton yelled "I'm standing at the crossroads, Lord save me if you please," and "Boy Wonder" said, "I don't know if you heard him, but make that two."
About that time feeling very good and wanting to dance, he jumped up and threw down his pipe. And this is when it all hit the fan. Cuz many people close to him were hypochondriacs and kept insisting that he take his medicine, whether he needed it or not. Having never walked themselves, they could not understand why he wanted to jump and dance. Somebody said, "He's crazy." Says he, "I'm not crazy. Come and dance with me." "Dance with you? Why I wouldn't be caught dead at a dog fight dancing with you." And that made a smiling dog, because he didn't want them to come over and dance anyway. And speaking of dogs, they even persecute the innocent. Well, about that time, our star was wondering again what constellation he was in, when someone shouted, "Happy Birthday!" Boy Wonder turned around to see who it was, and there was the Big Bad Wolf and all his Smiling Dogs. Says Boy Wonder, "Because they laughed at me." "What were they doing?" asked the Big Bad Wolf. "They were crying," says Boy Wonder. "
"Well," says the Big Bad Wolf, who was now smiling like the rest of the pack, "Misery loves company." "Yeah," says Boy Wonder, "that's true, as long as you don't try to make them happy."
Poem to the Band
The dawning of a new age
God's people make rage
showing forth harmony of praises
strange to outsiders
giving, glaring gazes
a chosen people
shall survive
not moved by propaganda
nor swept by the tide
yea, secretly they organized
but angels circled overhead
Jesus made you wise
The word in your hearts
swords in your hands
pilgrims in a strange land

From the back cover
Jimmy Hendrix wanted the best. That's why he asked Glenn Schwartz to play for him at what turned out to be his last birthday party. "Guitar Glenn" had already been chosen in a disc jockey survey as one of the world's five top rock guitarists. It blew the rock world's mind when Glenn played a screaming solo on his Gibson Firebird; he walked to the microphone and broke the news in front of 80,000 people that he had accepted Christ as his Saviour, quit drugs and encouraged them to do the same. The place came apart! He was voted "Top Performer" of the rock festival and the next day the newspaper carried headlines carried the caption, "The Gospel Still Lives." Well, Glenn sold his Firebird, but he never lost the fire!. Disc-jockeys; faces still light up when you say the name. They remember a band called "Pacific Gas and Electric" and a national hit called, "Are You Ready" on which he played lead, or they remember a super-star group called "The James Gang" and that when Glenn left the group. Joe walsh followed in his footsteps. A national music magazine wrote. "Those shoes are going to be hard to fill." Not long ago a cartoon strip in the Sunday paper had a cartoon character sitting in front of a set of drums. Sticks in hand, he pondered, "Things are changing so fast it's confusing. Let me see... was it Glenn Baker and Ginger Schwartz, or..."
It's providential at a time when the new generation of kids are forgetting those great names of the revolutionary rock era, that both Bob Dylan and Glenn Schwartz came back into the public eye flying high on Jesus Music. When a man of gentle countenance with strong, thick hands picks up a piece of steel, wood and wire, and turns it into a powerful but charming testimony of faith, then we know that Jesus Christ has once more stretched out his hand on a man and his talent and made them more than they would have been without Him. We believe that the first tune on side one will satisfy you of that. (End of this part of back cover)
Three days after The All Saved Freak Band recorded their first album, "My Poor Generation," the band's rhythm guitar player, Joe Markko, was electrocuted with 27,00 volts of electricity. When Joe's wife Sandy, his sister Laura and Larry got to the hospital, they found a large hole burned through Joe's breast bone and you could see his heart beating. It was not believed that he would live, as there was not a case in medical history where anyone had taken a shock of 27,000 volts and live through it. Immediately the group formed a 24-hour prayer chain and set aside certain days for prayer and fasting. For several weeks Larry and Laura went to the hospital at night and sat in Joe's room praying for him. During this time of crisis, two outstanding things remained in our minds. One was the outstanding efforts and dedication on the part of Dr. Fratianne, who is not only a dedicated Christian Catholic, but a man of God, and Kathy LaBianca, a nurse who prayed for Joe day and night. Kathy sometimes put in as many as 14 hours a day, staying after her own shift to make sure that everything was done correctly. The other outstanding point was the night of crisis when Larry was at the hospital praying and it did not look like Joe was going to make it. As prayer and supplication went up before God that this young man would not die before some of his music could get out to the public and that God would have mercy and let him live for the sake of his family, a quiet clear voice spoke, "I will give him his life." "Even if he lives," Dr. Fratianne said afterward, "he will never sing again." The first time the good doctor heard him sing he had to turn away, tears streaming down his face. He later ssid, "it's scientifically impossible for him to sing, yet he's doing it!"
How deep are the mercies of our God, how great is His power, how sweet his people! Let us take this opportunity to give thanks to Almighty God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost for His resurrection power. The blood of Jesus Christ has brought us great mercies. To Him be all glory! The beauty and the power of Sower is entirely because of the grace and mercies of Jesus Christ. Beloved, we will meet great tests and trials in the near future! Thousands in the West will be faced with circumstances beyond their control. But in the midst of every trial, there is One to whom we all may turn - Jesus Christ. He is the great hope of this world! This fact has got to be proclaimed across the world at this time in history. His Gospel must be preached to the masses. Think of it! In 1977 there were four billion people in this world, of whom two-thirds lived in countries with a median income of below $300.00 per person. About fifty-five percent of these people are under 21 years old. These impoverished nations are literally nations of children that can produce nothing. Surely these enveloped with poverty and sorrow need to hear of Jesus, "a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief." The children of these nations between 1983 and 1985 will become teenagers and co-habiting adults, multiplying into the hundreds of millions of more children. By 1993 those that are now children will be literate. Someone will give them something to read! The question is - - who? Hundreds of millions of these youngsters are, and will be, starving. Think of it! Every time we breathe, someone dies that has never heard the name of Jesus Christ! Surely in their loneliness, trouble and sorrow they need the comfort, faith and hope that Christ gives. They need the anointing that will give them the inner spiritual equipment to cope with their problems. It is obvious that we are in a urgent race against time! The question rises, how are these multitudes to be evangelized? Something must be done now!
It is the belief of the present members of All Saved Freak Band that God has raised up believers of a certain calling to play Jesus music for the evangelism of this generation. Rock and Roll has become the international language of the youth of all nations. This media must be used to reach the youth of the whole world. People are still quibbling about whether Jesus Rock is a legitimate means of evangelism while literally hundreds have come into the kingdom of God through its use. We have actually heard the testimonies of youth that have said they would have never gone to hear anyone preach, but they did get saved listening to the words of music.
We do not have time anymore for petty prejudices. They must be put aside! Jesus said, "I will make you fishers of men." (Matthew 4:19). We must look at Jesus Music this way - I don't like worms, but fish do! Get it? Paul reached all of Asia in two years (Acts 19:10). We believe we're learning how he did it. There are some basic laws in evangelism that must be adhered to. This could be called" Scientific Evangelism." We are preparing a paper titled "Commentary of Sower." The paper will include comments on this album, world evangelism and the part that music and prophecy play in that scheme of things. In response to many inquiries, there will be information about All Saved Freak Band and pictures. Significant comments will be made in answer to questions arising in the Christian community due to offense, music, appearance and absurd money demands made by certain Jesus music groups.
As Christian artist for the Hollywood Freepaper and host / producer for the radio show, "The Rock That Never Rolls," for a decade, I have had opportunity to interview many of the well-known Jesus music musicians personally. I am very concerned about the questions above and will make comment on these in depth in the commentary on Sower. It is evident that Jesus Music has come to a fork in the road. One road, the broad way ,is paved with compromise and a watered-down message with the hope that it will lead to fame and fortune. The other is the way that has always been the indicated way by God for His ministers. That is the way of the "Old Rugged Cross."
In response to a growing burden brought about by the influx of the mail to All Saved Freak Band, the band is preparing to minister to the obvious hunger for spiritual things in the Jesus community worldwide. All Saved Freak Band and myself have formed the Jesus Music Fellowship. This fellowship will form a platform of ministry for Christians on every level. This fellowship will be open to Jesus Musicians, Disc Jockeys, Producers, Engineers, Composers and members of the listening audience. The "Commentary of Sower" shall provide a broader view of the fellowship's concepts.

Side One
As a skilled surgeon tenderly removes the infected organ or amputates a diseased member of the body before healing can begin, so will Christ heal His body, the Church, through chastisement before his return. (1) Jesus will return for a Church that is "overcoming" and without spot or wrinkle." (2) Jesus has clearly revealed His will concerning the matter. (3) Our Lord shall accomplish His desire for moral and doctrinal purity in the Church. (4) Beware of all that try to minimize these aspects in the Church.
Jesus has a work to accomplish in these last days of time referred to in the Bible as the age of "the Church of the Laodiceans." (5) A reading of the third chapter of Revelation, verses fourteen through twenty-two, will give you a view of the concern of Christ for the Laodicean Age (the age in which we live), and what He intends to do about it. Now notice in the seventeenth verse the words, "i am rich and increased with goods," which is almost an exact description of the standard of success of the churches and evangelistic associations of today. (6) One asks, "How can people be so blind?" (7) Jesus answers, "Anoint thine eyes with eye salve." Paul wrote that "the letter to the Colossians was to be read to the Laodiceans." (8) With that in mind, the third chapter of Colossians, verses five and six, become more significant. "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affections, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is adolatry. For which things sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience." Notice! Covetousness is in the same class of sin as fornication! Covetousness is the subtle unnoticed sin of the twentieth century. we believe the Holy Spirit revealed to us that as we draw nearer to the war that will come to America, that many Christians will lose their possessions. "I will dispossess many American Christians from their possessions." To the Laodicean Church Jesus said, "as many as I love, I rebuke and chasten, be zealous therefore and repent." (9) In the order of God's discipline, first comes the rebuke, then comes the whip. The rebuking message has gone out to the church and the world for almost one hundred years; even after two world wars the masses and world leaders refuse God's call to repentance. The Gospel has been shunned.
Sower is a divine announcement! America has crossed the line and must pass through the refining fires of chastisement! That is not a prediction, it is a prophecy! It is likely that a devastating war on America will shatter the security of the masses so strongly that the Antichrist will be able to rise to world prominence and find world-wide acceptance of his "policy," (10) even as Hitler did in Germany after the first World War. That's only a supposition.
Regardless of the fact that the masses are to be brought into judgment, Jesus still holds out hope to the individual, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him." (11) Any person who will repent of their sins, be sorry and turn from them, accepting Jesus Christ and His atoning blood as a sacrifice for their sins by faith shall have eternal life. That stands true for saint or sinner. (12)
Jesus does not want a cold, or lukewarm church. He wants a hot church! There's no experience in life that can replace the glory of God entering the human heart. When the Holy Spirit reveals the glory of God, and when Jesus Himself walks into your life, there is cleansing, joy and power. It is an experience that puts the fire of God in you! It's Inner Light, it's Peace Like a River man! It's a Beautiful Morning! When it happens, it will put the Gospel in your mouth and holiness in your life. Jesus wants us on fire! He wants our all. He wants our spirit, soul and body under His sway. He cares about what you think, how you feel and what you look like! Jesus wants us to love God and have a burden for lost souls. He wants us out with the Bible, winning souls. He wants us out among all classes sowing the Word of God in the hearts of men. (13)
Communism rises as an ominous omen on the horizon. The communist military might of Russia, China, South America and Mexico shall serve as a scourge on the United States. In this century, three important events have taken place that have brought the church and the Western World to the doors of judgment. The first was the outpouring of the Holy Ghost in 1906 in Los Angeles, California, in what has become known as the Azuza Street Revival. This revival spread across the world in phenomenal dimensions; the result of which was the Pentecost Movement. The movement for the most part was a trustworthy Gospel preaching church for many years, and maintained sound teaching at a time in history when the other churches had either gone dry, or were apostatizing. It has since recanted of its holiness position to compromise a marriage between itself and the pagan left-wing of the church that worships virgins, saints, intercessors and idols. Of course, the practice of these things is the worst kind of heresy. The Bible states, "Ye are the temple of the Holy Ghost." (14) Then the Bible asks the question, "What agreement hath the temple of God with idols?" (15) This verse tells us plainly that Spirit-filled people are not to league themselves in any way with those using idols for inspiration (worship) or prayer. We should show them their errors in love. (16) Have no respect of their person and stand firm; have no shame of the Scriptures and Bible doctrine. (17)
To see one of the most powerful revivals in the history of the church marrying itself to the "Mother of Spiritual Wickedness," (18) is almost more than one can comprehend until one considers Paul's admonition to the Church of the Ephesians (Acts 29:28-30). If ambitious men began to lead the church astray in the presence of the Apostles (and don't forget that Judas walked with Jesus), then we may expect the same today.
Spiritual blindness has so possessed the leaders of this movement through their lust for money and self ambition, that this past summer on national television, three of the world's leading charismatic and Pentecostal leaders advocated the marriage of Israel with the United Arab Republic. What darkness! Not since God told Abraham to cast Ismael out (Genesis 21), including Paul's exposition on the same in Galatians, chapter four, has God suggested a covenant between the seed of Isaac and the Arabs. This is the very activity that the prophet Daniel said would be performed by the Antichrist! The eleventh chapter of Daniel tells us that the false prophet and Antichrist shall accomplish a false peace covenant for and with Israel and her enemies. In 1971 our pianist Larry Hill had a vision of the great Russian bear in the Middle East devouring land, and a serpent crawling out of Rome headed for the Middle East. Thousands of copies of the vision were distributed. Though history shows only one Pope traveling to the Middle East, we shall soon see it again. These blind leaders of the blind are preparing the minds of foolish Protestants to accept these Antichrist activities as good, and as of the Lord. The work of Antichrist is: "unification of the world!" "He shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries."
The second historical event is the accomplishment and settling of the Jews and their government back in the Promised Land. Read Ezekiel, chapter thirty-six through thirty-eight. God says He will fight.
The third great historical event to take place in this century is the invasion of Russia into the Middle East. Five hundred years before Christ was born. Ezekiel the prophet saw this very thing. You can take an old Bible map and the names of the countries found in Ezekiel, chapter thirty-eight and thirty-nine, and a modern globe, and find the whole communist block exactly as it is outlined today!. God said hundreds of years ago that He was going to take that atheistic nation and above their consciousness and will, sanctify Himself in the eyes of all the nations. (19) "He has put hooks in their jaws," (20) and made them do His will. This is one of the greatest opportunities to build faith in unbelievers' hearts that soul winners have had for many years. God has taken the nation which is the most outstanding in history to deny His existence, to prove that He lives. He said almost twenty-five hundred years ago in Ezekiel, chapters thirty-eight and thirty-nine, what Russia was going to do when He finally brought the Jews back to Israel, and He has made them do it! Oh, the mighty power of Jesus Christ! "All power is given unto me in heaven and earth." (21) The book of Revelation is the unveiling of Jesus Christ. The opening chapter of Revelation reveals Jesus in the midst of His church acting as its High Priest. (22) But in the sixth chapter, more of the character of Christ is unveiled as He releases the four horsemen of destruction upon the world. Hell and death is their name (23) and it is Christ that holds the keys thereof. (24). This is the Prince of the International Kaleidoscope, the Great Pontiff of the Universe, the resurrected Jesus, head of the nations, the King of Kings, exerting Himself on history as the Judge of the earth. On the morning of July 1, 1978, Larry Hill had a dream vision of a black rider on a coal black stallion, stalking through the English-speaking world. An audible voice said, "kiss the Son lest He be angry and ye perish from the way." He was made to know that the works of every man, woman and child was being recorded by the rider and that food shortage will become a reality in the English speaking world. "Each individual, family, community, locality and nation shall be judged according to their works."
The authenticity of the Bible is once more being confirmed. Jesus Christ has raised up Russia and all her satellites to scourge the nations for their rejection of the Gospel; the church shall be refined as judgment falls on the nations. "As many as I love... I chasten. Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him." (25) read Ezekiel, chapters thirty-eight and thirty-nine! Look on Russia and believe! Our God reigneth forever and ever and ever! Jesus Christ, the Prince of the International Kaleidoscope, stands on the horizon of time and calls to His own, "Take what you've got, do with it what you can, for the reaper in heaven needs a sower in the land."

"The red sea is rising and the waves are looking kind of rough, but I want to keep on going even though the going's getting kinda tough." "International bankers and round-table groups have got all the nations jumpin' through hoops. And out of their ranks, I doubt if there's one who knows that their father's a Jesuit son."
"All across the nation people in expectation wait for devastation. Read it in the book of Revelation, set in fascination."
"White, red, black and pale horses are coming. When are you gonna stop your runnin'. You better keep on prayin', or in a grave you'll be layin'. Forgive our sins, Jesus, in your Holy Name."
Forgiveness of sin takes a tremendous pressure off the mind and spirit, healing of the body often occurs at the same time as forgiveness of sin. It is when we submit ourselves to the Lord, wholly sanctified, soul and body through submission to the Word of God that we experience our Beautiful Mornings. Peace Like a River flows and every new day an inspirational thought is good and hold intrinsic value. It is then that the resurrected Christ within the self-crucified Christian overcomes the darkness and pain of the environment. The gates of hell shall never prevail against the Inner Light. "Flesh and blood hath not revealed this unto thee - but my Father which is in Heaven."
The revelation of who Jesus is in the heart, and the proclamation of that faith by the mouth to the world is the rock on which Christ builds His church. "There is no hope in the pope. All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Rome together again." Only Jesus saves! The doctrine of Justification by Faith has forever dispersed the dark doctrines of Rome. When Rome once more becomes the mistress city of the Mediterranean, it will be through amalgamation of the dark occult, Marxism and the manipulation of the money powers of the earth - "Mystery Babylon" (Revelation 17:5).
Thank God "the world cannot take from me what God's own Son has shown to me." "Children of the day, look my way, for you have never let sin and tears block the way." "Hurry, take what you've got and do with it what you can, for the reaper in heaven needs a sower in the land!" In America we are living on an island of relative peace and security in the midst of an enormous sea of trouble and distress. But the "Red sea is rising," and fast eroding away our relative security. We are now entering the period of history when total goodness and evil shall face one another in a final confrontation. There remains one island of liberty but it is weakening at a fantastic rate of speed. In the light of this, the Christians across the world must be aware that right now (because of the population explosion) we have the opportunity to win as many souls to Christ as have been born and died since Adam to this time. In order for the church to fulfill its mission in this generation, there can be nothing short of a one hundred percent dedication to the cause of soul winning on the part of every believer. OUR MOTTO MUST BE - - EVERY CHRISTIAN TO EVERY CREATURE! All dreams, ambitions and self-will must be forsaken. Pride must be left groveling in the dust. Even family and possessions must be put in second place and the Great Commission fill our hearts and minds. We can no longer believe what we see; from now on only the Word of God is to be perceived as true. The harvest is great, the labourers are few, what will you do?
The Album Logo and Company Name
In 1975 the Holy Spirit said, "Take Starr, your State Champion Mare, to be bred to Hirzan, son of the world famous Arabian war horse, Witez II." Witez II was kidnapped by General G. Patton from Hitler and the Russians. The Lord said, "The result of that breeding shall be a Palomino stallion foal. You shall name him War Again, for he and his name shall be a prophetic sign of the war coming to America." Starr was bred in 1976 and War is now three years old.
Album Prayer
Dear God,
May every believer priest that receives this album be moved to fast a meal, or certain days, and pray that the conviction power of the Holy Ghost shall attend this work.
May the believer and unbeliever alike be made to see that every worldly principle and system shall pass into judgment for the "prince of this world" is already judged.
Lord, may believers be convicted of their own sins and set their house in order according to the Scriptures. May every husband be the head of his house, and every wife in subjection, with their children in obedience, loved, chastised and trained according to the Bible.
We pray Father, that the Person and Glory of Jesus Christ shall be made so real to us that we can face every reality within and without, with faith and courage.
Now Lord, may many souls find enlightenment and salvation in Christ through this album.
In the name of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen
In order to encourage growth in soul-winning efforts in the Christian Community, the Holy Spirit has provided this seven point program.
I. Four Albums
1. "My Poor Generation" - - This album's concept of a generation gone wild on drugs, sex, and revolution. Finally disillusioned, they may find Jesus Christ as their hope and salvation.
2. "For Christians, Elves and Lovers" - - The feeling of beauty, love and enchantment pervades this album for all the family. The album brings awareness and peace of mind as the shadow of the Dark Lord makes itself felt.
3. "Brainwashed" - - points at the enemy. A cutting, serious album concerning organized persecution against the Jesus Movement. Under the guise of trying to stop the occult, the occult itself organized kidnappings across the country. Explains how brainwashing process started over 50 years ago to produce hatred against Christ and the Bible. May be the most powerful album produced by ASFB.

Visions - from album insert
(This insert has two visuals. They have not yet been reproduced on this page)
The First Vision
I had a dream that I was fleeing through the countryside with American people. Some were pulling cart wagons, and some who were with me were carrying sacks. I looked back along the dark lined horizon and saw thousands of heads appearing. Immediately I was brought into a close-up scene of these numerous soldiers. I could see their color and features distinctly. They were young slender men, watching the fleeing people intently. The sufficiency of the soldiers radiated their whole being. They were yellow, dressed in blue uniforms.
The interpretation of the vision was plain. America was going to war with a yellow skinned people, and was losing. The next morning newspaper headlines announced the first major bombing in Asia since Korea - Vietnam. Military strategists predicted that America was going to war with Vietnam! (This took place a few hours after the vision.) It should be specially noted that for two and a half years after this vision, whenever I would tell the visions in church services or to the public, I would say that i didn't understand the blue uniforms. In 1967 I learned that Red China and Vietnam's soldiers were wearing blue uniforms.
The Second Vision
It was the summer of 1965. I was in my mother's living room in Austinburg, Ohio, snapping beans which my mother and another woman were canning. I felt a shadow come over my head and looking up, immediately went into a vision. My eyes were looking at a map my mother had hung on the wall. I saw a soldier in a military-billed cap step out of the center of the Soviet Union. An old-fashioned cannon stood to his left. The soldier began to walk through the Soviet Union down into Red China, down through Vietnam, the Philippines, then Australia and stopped. I then looked back at Red China and saw a black arrow go from Red China to Hawaii. Then a black arrow went off from Northern Russia sown into Alaska and Canada.
For three days after the vision, I pondered its validity. On the fourth day I was sitting in a barbershop reading a newspaper when a large headline caught my eyes. It was a letter from an officer in Vietnam which said, "We had better pray to God that we stop the Communists here in Vietnam, before they proceed from Red China to Vietnam to the Philippines to Australia. Once they have a solid land block from the Soviet Union to Australia they'll jump to Hawaii, and we will have to dig in and fight on our own soil." It was the exact outline I had seen in the vision four days earlier. I felt then that this was a confirmation that the vision was from God.
The Third Vision
A few weeks later, a third vision came in the form of a dream. I was helping someone build a church. Joists were sticking up all around the building. Someone was working at my right, nailing with a hammer. I looked out the back of the church and saw thousands of planes approaching with thousands of soldiers parachuting to the ground. Red China was heavy in my mind. I believe that they could have come from South America because one of the paratroopers' faces was Latin America. I said to myself, 'I'll walk to the front of the church and see if they are there too!' I walked to the front of the church and there was a clear span in the sky. Then about a mile or two away, the thousands of planes and paratroopers came in view. An audible voice spoke to me, saying, 'See how fast they got their troops here!'
The Fourth Vision
A short time later I had this dream. I saw a hand holding a seed. The seed was dropped to the ground and covered up. The same audible voice that spoke to me in the previous vision said, 'As it was in the seed time, so the church must return to its original state.' The words apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers flashed before my eyes, and then the word love. I saw that there must be a re-establishing of unity of all members of the church with the functioning of the nine gifts of the Spirit as described in 1 Corinthians, twelfth chapter, and that a renewal of love would bring and hold the church together. As it was in the seed times, so the church must return to its original state.
The Fifth Vision
In the latter part of 1971 I saw these things in a vision. The Soviet bear stood up in the MIDDLE EAST, devouring much land. Then a huge serpent crawled out of Rome, heading for the Middle East! Then small, dark clouds gathered over Northern Russia, Northern Canada and the far north. Then I saw an eagle streaking from the sky as an eagle falls on its prey. The bear and serpent are easily understood. I then saw a black line run lengthwise across California, and the shorelines trembled in the water. Some of these trembling shorelines were in the south. I believe some were located in the Gulf of Mexico. (For the interpretation of the fifth vision, see liner notes.) God is going to send America into vast and destructive judgment for her sins. What should each individual do?
1. Face your sins and get rid of them. Confess them to God in Jesus' name. Read I John 1:7-9 and II John 3:16.
2. Learn how to pray and touch God. As you read the Bible and seek God, He'll fill you with his presence. You'll know when God touches you. Acts 2:1-4.
3. Get bold and win others to Christ. Acts 1:8.
4. Begin to stock non-perishable foods and the fundamentals for camping and survival.
5. Never lose hope. From now on, depression and fear will become stronger. Use your faith in God and your joy will increase.
6. All civil services (including police and fire departments), public officials, churches, schools, ministers and teachers should take first aid and self help training.
7. Have a Bible and a copy of the Constitution of the United States in your stores, and get spiritually, mentally and physically fit.
8. Keep your mind free. Don't be victimized by the subtle brainwashing techniques used by the media, the education system, and any un-Biblical teachings. Stalin's first principle in his Six-Point Plan for the Destruction and Conquest of the United States is "the use of philosophy, mysticism, the development of the liberal cult, and the furtherance of atheism and agnosticism to nullify, neutralize and discredit the teaching of the Word of God." Lenin said, "When a country is selected for attack, we must first set up before the youth of that land a mental barrage which will forever prohibit the possibility of that youth being molded into an armed force to resist our armies." "Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind." (Romans 12:2). Being conformed is a result of brainwashing and social pressure, being transformed is a result of contact with the power of God. The Word of God is enlightening. Psalms 119:130 tells us, "The entrance of thy words giveth light: it giveth understanding to the simple." Being saved through the grace of God with a thorough knowledge of Bible doctrine will keep your mind in a state of strength, balance and flexibility.
The Interpretation of the Visions
The first vision shows America at war with an oriental people which led to and concluded with fighting with fighting on our own soil, as evidenced by fleeing civilians.
The second vision reveals the progress of communism to Australia, then a black arrow streaks from Red China, pointing to Hawaii and from northern Russia to the Alaska area.
The third vision reveals the enemy advancement to this country. In this vision, Red China was in my mind constantly, but the only face I saw was that of a Latin American. Therefore, South America will be involved.
During this time of crisis, the fourth and final vision manifests the great need for the church to return to its original state. "As it was in the seed time (the founding of the church by the apostles), so the Church must return to its original state." Jesus, the Great Sower, knows how to plant and reap.
As the pressures of this age increase on the true Christian, it will be necessary to move closer to God and closer to the brethren. As the persecution arises, the Church will be forced to rely on the supernatural power of God. Apostolic and prophetic ministries shall be restored to the Church, without which it cannot be perfected. As war, famine and death increase in the land, the real Christ believers will be forced to drop social, economic, denominational and at the last, racial differences and begin to have fellowship. As the true body of Christ unites, which is a moving of God (not the ecumenical and charismatic movement which will form a one world church, which in turn will help bring in the world reign of the Antichrist), the power of the Holy Ghost will anoint the believing church in love as described in I Corinthians, chapter thirteen, and spiritual gifts as described in I Corinthians, chapter 12, and Acts, chapter 2:2-5. These blessings and graces can only come through accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
A Special Note
The figure of Christ and the four horsemen were not in the actual visions. They are placed there to help illustrate that Christ holds the keys that release the four horsemen in Revelation 6.
They illustrate that Christ controls the powers that chastise His Church.
Visions 1 - 4 were given in the year 1965.
Vision 5 was given in 1971.

Glen Allred
Allred has had a long career in Southern gospel music, beginning at the age of 15 with the Monterey Quartet. He also played guitar with various quartets. Joined the Oak Ridge Quartet in February 1951; departed in May 1952 due to financial problems within the quartet. Allred played guitar and sang baritone. Moved to Valdosta, Georgia to join the Happy Rhythm Quartet, but quickly switched to Spirit of Dixie Trio from Savannah, Georgia. In September, 1952 Allred joined the Gospel Melody Quartet, which had been formed in 1947 by J. G. Whitfield in Pensacola, Florida. The GMQ was the beginning of what was to become the Florida Boys in 1955. Allred left the FB in 1957 to sing with a group called the Navigators, but he quickly asked to rejoin the Florida Boys. The rest of his singing career was with the Florida Boys.
