Liner Notes
College professor, war vet, outstanding musician, and singer extraordinary, are all factors that go together to make up the background of J. T. Adams. First catapulted to fame on the wings of a song (My God Is Real), Adams has remained a significant force in the religious record field. He was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas in 1926, was educated at East Texas State Teacher's College, served in the Navy Air Corps in World War Two, returned to his alma mater as a faculty member and is currently engaged as Director of Music and Youth at the First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
The Men-Of-Texas is a male glee club made up of outstanding voices from every section of the Lone Star State. Capable of the nimbleness and versatility of a quartet or the full sound of a large choir, this group is admirably suited to the striking vocal talents of J. T. Adams.

Liner Notes
Young people everywhere are looking for a way to express themselves. Never before in history has this been more evident than now when there is rebellion on every hand with rioting in the streets and revolt on the college campus. These are signs of our times - youth having its "say." However, these rebels are not speaking for all the young people in America. There are many others who are fine Christians who believe in God and the American way of life. This is why this Christian folk-musical “Time Out” was written and recorded. These songs were written as "teen-age"
songs with musical stylings. They are contemporary in nature and have that "pop" flavor that speaks to youth. The music gives young people a chance to have a voice in things they believe and a means of expression that is uniquely theirs. The "beat" is the thing and these songs have a beat. Yet listen to the words! They say something well worth listening to.
If young people across America can use this music in expressing their faith to their generation in their own way and get across the message of Christ, I will feel this effort worthwhile. J. T. Adams
